merge is daystar's youth program

Calling all youth! Merge will be every Monday, 7pm-9pm. Merge is our youth ministry program for everyone and anyone grade 7-12. We play games, eat food, have youth led worship and hear awesome sermons that relate to teens. We’d love to have you come out, see you there!

First Time? What to Expect:

Here are some things to get you or your teen prepped for your first time at Merge!

registering your youth

We ask every youth who comes to Merge to register into our iPad check in system when they arrive. We'll need a parent/legal guardian name, phone number, and email. This is to ensure we have proper contact in the case of an emergency. Parents are welcome to come in with their teens to help register their first time!

getting connected

Merge starts with a time to just hang out, play games in our upstairs youth room, and connect with friends. One of our focuses of Merge is to have a youth group where any teen, whether extraverted/introverted, athletic/bookworm, etc., can feel connected and make friends. Our leaders will make sure any newcomers are welcomed and get plugged in with teens their age.

youth service

Our primary focus of Merge is to help teens grow in their faith and to encounter God through prayer and worship. Every Merge will have a service geared for teens. We have worship every other week, and every week we'll have a sermon that applies to the life of a teenager. After sermons we'll have small group discussion questions. We ask youth to keep their phones away and be respectful of others during the services!

games and food

After service, we play a big wide game with everyone that usually involves running around. We have designated hangout spots for those who'd rather just sit and hangout. Then we serve snack for everyone (GF/DF food available).
