River Baptism Details

Sunday, June 28 | 6:00 PM | Prospector's Point

Where to Go:

• Prospector's Point is north of the Devon townsite, across the river (click here for Google maps directions)
• Construction: The access road is undergoing some upgrades and there is signage indicating "Local Traffic Only". This can be disregarded, as we have permission from the county to hold our service at Prospector's Point.
• Parking and Shuttle Service: Spots are limited, consider carpooling. When the parking lot is full, our parking team will direct you to places along the access road to park. We are planning on having a shuttle to bring people from where they park down to the parking lot.
• Walking instructions: on the Southwest side of the parking lot is a picnic area, a walking path from there will take you down to the riverbank. We will hold the service directly under the bridge. (See map)

Other important details:

• In the event that we must cancel the riverside baptism due to unforeseen circumstances or a serious safety concern, the service will be redirected to Daystar Church. We will  post the change here and on Facebook / Instagram (no later than 3pm)
• Dress for the weather. We are expecting rain. The path may be muddy, so wear good outdoor footwear.
• Fire pits will be available to warm yourself
• Bring a lawn chair (if you want)
• Outhouse facilities are available in the parking lot.
• Pray for everyone being baptized!
